Pool Points System
In Pool Rummy, a limit of 101 or 201 points is set. Each round, the loser's card points are added to their total score. Once a player reaches the set limit, they are eliminated from the game.
Card Point Values
The A card is worth 1 point. J, Q, K, and 10 cards are each worth 10 points. The remaining number cards count at face value (2 through 9).
Sets & Sequences
Form a "set" with 3–4 cards of the same rank, or a "sequence" with 3 or more consecutive cards of the same suit. Having at least one pure sequence is required.
Drop Option
If you feel your hand is weak, you have the option to "drop". A first drop carries a fixed point penalty; a middle drop carries a higher point penalty.
